Current provider card holders are given a 30-day grace period to register once their certificate and provider card has expired. During that grace period, individuals are eligible to register for the Fundamentals of Chemotherapy Biotherapy Administration Renewal Course. However, a late fee of $35.00 will be added to the cost of the registration.
Should one’s provider card be expired longer than 30 days, they will be required to register for the Fundamentals of Chemotherapy Biotherapy Administration Course and complete its course requirements to earn a valid provider status.
Keep in mind, the 30-day grace period is solely for registration purposes. A provider status expiration on any previously earned status is not extended during this time frame.
It is important to note that the ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Biotherapy Certificate provider card and the Fundamentals of Chemotherapy Biotherapy Administration provider card are not interchangeable.
