Current provider card holders are given a 30-day grace period to register once their certificate and provider card has expired. During that grace period, individuals are eligible to register for the Chemotherapy Biotherapy: Fundamentals of Administration Renewal Course. However, a late fee of $35.00 will be added to the cost of the registration.
Should one’s provider card be expired longer than 30 days, they will be required to register for the Chemotherapy Biotherapy: Fundamentals of Administration Course and complete its course requirements to earn a valid provider status.
Keep in mind, the 30-day grace period is solely for registration purposes. A provider status expiration on any previously earned status is not extended during this time frame.
It is important to note that the ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Biotherapy Certificate provider card and the Chemotherapy Biotherapy: Fundamental of Administration provider card are not interchangeable.
